Pico Technology (www.picotech.com) has packed a comprehensive test and measurement lab in one outstanding oscilloscope, the PicoScope 6403. This 350 MHz oscilloscope comes with a large integrated function memory of up to one GS and an arbitrary waveform generator.
While other oscilloscopes in the market features high sampling rates that cannot be sustained on long timebases for lack of deep memory, the PicoScope 6403’s one-gigasample memory enables users to capture up to five GS/s down to 20 ms/div. This translates to a total duration of 200 ms.
Managing this huge data requires the use of powerful tools. Thus, PicoScope harmoniously blends a maximum zoom factor of 100 million with a selection of two types of zoom methods. It also provides a conventional set of zoom controls and an overview window that allows users to reposition the display by dragging the mouse and conveniently view the whole waveform.
The oscilloscope’s drivers support data streaming mode allows users to easily capture gap-free continuous data via the USB port directly to the hard disk of the PC or RAM at a rate (PC-dependent) of up to 13 MS/s. Meanwhile, its software development kit (SDK) enables users to create their own interface or software to famous third party software packages.
Like the other oscilloscopes in the PicoScope 6000 Series, the PicoScope 6403 also delivers high-speed circuitry, which allows it to capture and trigger more than one million waveforms per second as well as increases the users chances of identifying infrequent glitches.
