Pico Technology (www.picotech.com) has unveiled a 20 MHz oscilloscope ideal for scientific, general and field-service use. This dual channel oscilloscope offer 12-bit resolution and one percent accuracy while making an excellent choice for vibration, noise and mechanical analysis.
With an input range of ±50 mV to ±100 V full–scale, the oscilloscope allows users to measure higher voltages from motor drives and power supply circuits as well as small signals from sensors.
The PicoScope 4424 eliminated the need to carry batteries or external power supply as it powered with a USB 2.0 interface. It delivers a maximum real-time sampling rate of 80 MS/s, enabling it to provide high-speed data to the PC while offering a responsive and high-resolution display.
With its advanced 32 megasample buffer, the oscilloscope ensures that there will not be a compromise between performance and buffer size. In addition, its capability to display update rate while maximizing on the buffer size allows users to capture even the tiniest detail of the waveform.
Designed with PicoScope oscilloscope software, the PicoScope 4424 does not only function as an oscilloscope that offers advanced features such as math functions, digital persistence and automated measurements — it can also be used as a spectrum analyzer.
It also comes with a software development kit (SDK), which enables users to write their very own software or utilize a third party application.
