Agilent’s DSOX3054A Oscilloscope

April 7, 2011 By Test and Measurement Editor Leave a Comment

Agilent (www.agilent.com) has introduced another oscilloscope from the InfiniiVision 3000 X-Series, the DSOX3054A Oscilloscope.

Agilent-DSOX3054A-Oscilloscope

This four-channel oscilloscope offers a bandwidth of up to 500 MHz and the largest display in its class. Its 8.5-inch WVGA display provides 50% more viewing space and 3.4 times the resolution compared to its key competitors.

The scope also delivers the fastest update rate of up to one million waveforms per second. This optimizes the capability of the scope to capture infrequent and random events.

The DSOX3054A oscilloscope offers a MegaZoom IV deep memory of up to four Mpts, allowing users to capture non-repeating signals while keeping a high sample rate. The scope has been specifically designed with an exclusive MegaZoom Technology, which automatically switch to deeper memory as the need arise, allowing users to maintain fast sample rates while updating.

The scope’s MegaZoom IV custom ASIC technology harmoniously blends the capabilities of a logic analyzer, oscilloscope, WaveGen built-in function generator and protocol analyzer in one compact package.

The scope also offers nine parametric triggers, 33 automated measurements, six serial protocol triggers, and seven waveform math functions that includes FFT.

The scope is the first instrument in its category to feature an integrated and upgradable logic timing analyzer and an integrated 20 MHz function generator.

Suitable for design or educational labs where budget and space are at a premium, the scope’s integrated function generator delivers a stimulus output of square, sine, pulse, ramp, DC and noise waveforms to the device under test.
