Agilent’s Infiniium DSO90808A high-performance oscilloscope/digitizer

January 7, 2011 By Test and Measurement Editor Leave a Comment

Agilent technologies (www.agilent.com) has released the DSO90008 series high-performance, low-profile oscilloscopes/digitizers that are based on the popular DSO90000A series oscilloscopes, delivering unmatched real-time measurement accuracy. The company’s RF and probing experts have ensured that customers get the most accurate measurements with less scope noise interfering their breakthrough scientific work, whether directly connected or using a wide variety of probing solutions.

Agilent’s Infiniium DSO90808A oscilloscope/digitizer series boasts front-end technology and industry-leading ADC that enable superior digitizing performance that extend between connection point and final measurement. The DSO90008 series can use the HW accelerated filters, on-board PCs, and powerful off the shelf SW like Agilent 89600B VSA software to achieve faster results. Measurements are customized using Matlab SW based calculations, which can be directly integrated inside the oscilloscope application. Raw data can be offloaded via USB, Ethernet or optional multi-lane PCIe hardware for accelerated data transfer.

Key features of Infiniium 90008A Series oscilloscopes/digitizers include optional high-speed PCIe bus that transfers data to external PC at sustained rates of up to 150MB/s; selected filter system to deliver response with less than 0.3% pre-shoot; certified with Citrix Corporation for full operation with no hard drive; and device drivers for VxWorks, Linux, and LabVIEW RT, with application code examples for Visual Basic, C/C++, MATLAB, LabWindows/CVI and LabVIEW.

The DSO91308A (13 GHz), DSO91208A (12 GHz) and DSO90808A (8 GHz) models all have 8 channels, a sample rate of 40 GSa/s and standard memory of 10 Mpts.
