Agilent Technologies (www.agilent.com) has introduced a 100 MHz oscilloscope that features two channels as well as eight digital channels, the MSOX2012A Oscilloscope. It delivers a sampling rate of one GSa/s per channel or 2 GSa/s for half-channel interleaved mode.
Recognizing that engineering for best signal visibility begins with the largest display, Agilent has specifically designed the oscilloscope with a large 8.5-inch WVGA display to offer five times the resolution and double the viewing area than that offered by other oscilloscope manufacturers.
A part of the 2000 X-Series, the MSOX2012A is one of the first oscilloscopes in its class to come with an integrated logic timing analyzer. Agilent broke out of the chain of offering two and four channels only by offering an additional eight integrated digital timing channels, giving users a total of 12 channels of time correlated acquisition, triggering and viewing on a single instrument.
Specifically designed with MegaZoom IV custom ASIC technology, the MSOX2012A provides up to 50,000 waveforms per second allowing users to easily view infrequent anomalies and signal details.
The MSOX2012A features a deep memory of 100 kpts which allows users to readily capture long, non-repeating signals while keeping a high sample rate. It also enables the oscilloscope to keep a high sample rate over a longer period of time.
Turning on measurements or adding the digital channels will allows the oscilloscope to deliver a fast update rate of up to 50,000 waveforms per second without any compromise.
Aside from four waveform math functions with FFT, the oscilloscope also provides 23 automated measurements that include time, voltage and frequency.
