Agilent’s U1602A handheld digital oscilloscope

August 12, 2011 By Test and Measurement Editor Leave a Comment

Agilent Technologies (www.agilent.com) has unveiled a 20 MHz oscilloscope from the high performing and robust series of reliable handheld waveform and meter measurement device — the U1602A handheld digital oscilloscope.

Aside from featuring the full functions of an oscilloscope, its real-time data logger also offers a 6,000-count true RMS DMM. With a memory depth of 125 Kpts, this two channel oscilloscope delivers a maximum real-time sampling rate of 200 MSa/s. Its Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) and Dual Waveform Math (DWM) functions allow users to quickly perform waveform analyses in both frequency and time domains.

The handheld oscilloscope also features a bright 4.5-inch LCD color display that helps users to easily and clearly distinguish waveforms. It offers a high performance quality assurance and troubleshooting tool for technical professionals in the maintenance service, installation and automotive industries.

The oscilloscope’s integrated 6000 resolution count true RMS digital multimeter (DMM) has an auto-range feature that not only provides users with accurate meter measurement such as resistance, voltage, auxiliary and resistance, but also the flexibility to perform quickly.

Its 125,000 points record length allows users to conveniently zoom in at waveforms of interest and discover the signal’s most subtle details at a particular time-base setting.

The U1602A also features flexible triggering capabilities that enable users to capture and isolate the conditions to be characterized. Its advanced triggering functions include pulse width, edge, video signal and pattern triggering.
