Redefining economy oscilloscope, Agilent (www.agilent.com) has proudly announced that its DSO1014A Oscilloscope delivers more capabilities, more signal viewing and more productivity.
A part of Agilent’s 1000 Series, the dual channel oscilloscope offers the features and performance found in large oscilloscope as well as the low price and portability required in a small one. Its economical price makes it ideally suited for teaching basic engineering and scientific measurements at lab stations in universities and schools.
The DSO1014A oscilloscope offers 100 MHz bandwidth and a maximum sampling rate of two GSa/s. Its memory depth of up to 20 kpts per channel allows the oscilloscope to maintain high-resolution acquisition despite slower timebase settings. This provides users a clear view of the signal.
The oscilloscope comes with a bright, crisp LCD color display that allows users to view the signal from any angle. Unlike traditional oscilloscopes that require the menus to be always on, the DSO1014A’s 5.7-inch diagonal screen is always available for waveform display.
Its True Zoom and dual display features enable the oscilloscope to simultaneously display the entire signal and zoom in waveform display. Equipped with 23 automatic voltage, frequency and time measurements, the oscilloscope can display the three most used or all single-channel measurements by simply pressing the Measure key.
Aside from recording up to 1000 occurrences of a trigger event, the DSO1014A oscilloscope also offers the capability to play them back, enabling users to easily identify anomalies or glitches for further examination. Waveforms can be stored in external (USB flash drive) or internal memory.
The oscilloscope’s triggering options include pulse width, edge, composite video, alternate and pattern channel trigger modes.
