The 2000 and 3000 X-Series oscilloscopes from Agilent Technologies Inc. (www.agilent.com) bagged the 2011 EDN China Innovation Award, emerging as the Best Product for the Test and Measurement category.
Considered a landmark awards across the microelectronics field, the EDN China Innovation Awards branched out from the original EDN Innovation Awards. About 80 companies in 2011 have submitted their 142 products but the 2000 and 3000 X-Series were unanimously voted by the jury composed of media, academic research and industry experts.
The 2000 and 3000 X-Series from Agilent bested other oscilloscopes from brands LeCroy, Rohde & Schwarz, National Instruments and Tektronix.
Agilent has been conferred with the honor for the third time now. In 2010, the EDN China Innovation Award for Best Test and Measurement Product Award went to the Agilent Infiniium 90000 X-Series oscilloscopes.
Commenting on the recent recognition, Jay Alexander, Vice President and General Manager of Agilent’s Oscilloscope Products Division, said: “We have consistently ensured that our customers around the world are served with the very best test and measurement products, and we sincerely thank our esteemed customers, as well as EDN China, for this prestigious award. “
“This level of acknowledgement reinforces the technology leadership and unprecedented measurement contributions the new oscilloscopes bring to customers. We are honored by this innovation award and will continue on our path to develop additional industry-leading products,” he added.
The 2000 and 3000 X-Series oscilloscopes are designed for the education lab environment. Using the oscilloscopes, engineering students can see more signal more often as it offers the fastest waveform update in the industry.
