Fluke Corporation (www.fluke.com) has released its Fluke 190 Series Medical ScopeMeters – a high-performance series of oscilloscopes for demanding applications when servicing medical video systems and imaging equipment. The Fluke 190 Series Medical ScopeMeter is based on the Fluke 190 Series ScopeMeters and offers measurement capabilities used for servicing medical equipment in X-ray, Ultrasound, MRI and Nuclear Medicine.
The Fluke 190 series features dual input (100MHz or 200MHz bandwidth); selectable persistence mode; automatic waveform measurements; automatic capture and replay of 100 screens; four hours rechargeable NiMH battery pack; 600V CAT III and 1,000V CAT II safety certified; and up to 1,000V independently floating isolated inputs. It also offers up to 2.5GS/s real-time sampling per input; 27,500 points per input record length with the ScopeRecord mode; video triggering using line selector for high-resolution and standard video systems; and Connect-and-View automatic triggering – a full range of manual trigger modes with external triggering.
The series also features smart averaging, which provides the averaged waveform over successive acquisitions and minimizes noise in the displayed waveform, and extended offset, in which vertical offset is extended to a maximum of 16 divisions.
It also comes with MA190 Accessory Kit that includes insulated BNC(f) to 4mm banana plug adapter; dual 4mm banana receptacles (1 black, 1 red); 50 ohm BNC feedthrough terminator in insulated enclosure to maintain proper termination of test connections during measurement; 1 ohm current shunt for current measurements; safety-designed BNC cable (1.5m) with plastic connectors to test terminals even when not in ground potential; and 50-ohm BNC terminator with 10:1 signal attenuation, keeping the test terminal loaded while receiving optimum signal amplitude to benefit from the extended offset range of the instrument.
