Based on the WavePro 7-Zi-A Series of oscilloscope, LeCroy’s (www.lecroy.com) SDA 735Zi-A Serial Data Analyzer is fitted with double the standard memory, allowing it to easily capture more unit intervals within the eye diagram. With an optimized high-speed serial pattern trigger, the oscilloscope operates on up to 2.7 Gb/s speeds and at bit patterns of up to 80 bit.
Offering 3.5 GHz bandwidth, this four channel oscilloscope features a maximum sampling rate of 40 GS/s and LeCroy’s SDA II serial data debug software, which is the most versatile and powerful solution for determining the primary cause of failures in serial data compliance. Unleashing the power of serial data analysis, the software helps users characterize and understand the design, determine the reason for the failure of the device or host and prove compliance.
Unlike some solutions that simply provide problem notification, the SDA 735Zi-A helps users determine the problem. It features Setup Warning Indicators that alert users if something in their design requires attention. If the input signal, for instance, of the user is a clock and he has not chosen clock as his signal type, a yellow indicator will be displayed, prompting the user that an inconsistency occurs.
Its SDA II Serial Data Analysis speeds up insight to the main cause of the problem by providing intuitive graphical views of jitter decomposition.
SDA II also offers various tools, such as the Periodic Jitter Spectrum, ISI Plot and DDJ Histogram, to help users further understand deterministic jitter values including their sources.
