LeCroy (www.lecroy.com) has released the WaveAce 101 Digital Oscilloscope, which simplifies work with 32 automatic standard measurements. Its advanced timing parameters enable users to analyze the relationship between two different signals.
Portable oscilloscopes usually suffer from limited capture time due to small waveform memory. The WaveAce offers longer capture times with its 4 kpts/Ch and 10 kpts/Ch configurations. More waveform detail is revealed with every trigger. It also includes a built-in zoom function for closer look.
The WaveAce features five math functions including subtract, add, divide, multiply and FFT. The FFT capability offers users the choices of two different vertical scales and four windows.
WaveAce 101 digital filtering enables users to isolate frequencies they want to view. Filters may be Band-Pass, Band-Stop, High-Pass and Low-Pass filters.
For easier saving of screen images, setups and waveforms to memory sticks, the WaveAce provides a front panel USB host port. A USB device port on the rear panel allows for connection to a printer or PC. EasyScope software made communicating and connecting to a PC much easier. The software provides access to the oscilloscope’s measurements, display, front panel controls and waveform data.
Users can also replay and capture a sequence of up to 2500 waveforms to separate the glitch or runt that causes problems to the system.
It also features advanced triggering capabilities, which include Video, Pulse Width, Edge and Slope (Rise Time), a large internal waveform and setup storage, and a built-in Pass/Fail Mask testing.
