LeCroy (www.lecroy.com) has released its latest collection of WaveRunner oscilloscopes, the WaveRunner 6000A series. Offering a state-of-the-art signal capture technology and the easiest user interface in its class, this 350-MHz to two-GHz oscilloscope sets a whole new standard of performance in bench oscilloscope.

Powered by SiGe chipset, this two-Mpts oscilloscope offers the lowest residual jitter, while its real-time sample rate of 2.5 to 10 GS/s captures sharp edges and high frequency transients.

Its open Windows XP OS enables users to install Windows software that will facilitate in the analysis of waveform data directly in the oscilloscope without the need of using another PC.

Unlike other oscilloscope, the WaveRunner 6000A series can sample at full five GS/s on each channel. Its SMART Trigger feature allows fast and quick trigger and easily locate signal pattern or characteristics needed by users.

Just like the other WaveRunner oscilloscope, the series comes with a bright SVGA display with 800 x 600 pixels to deliver the best resolution in its category.

To meet the demands of the general-purpose oscilloscope clients, LeCroy has improved its renowned WaveRunner interface, literally placing the basic tools for viewing signals at user’s fingertips. The 6000A series now features a V/div and offset controls for each channel, while its cursor, zoom, print and Analog Persistence controls now have their own dedicated knobs. Users can now enter menus for timebase, traces and triggering at one touch.
