LeCroy WaveJet 334A oscilloscope

February 29, 2012 By Test and Measurement Editor Leave a Comment

LeCroy’s (www.lecroy.com) WaveJet 334A oscilloscope effectively eliminates the tradeoff between high sample and long capture rate, delivering long capture at 2 GS/s sample rate. The four channel oscilloscope’s long memory makes it an ideal tool for observing high frequency as well as low frequency signals or even signals with fast edges.

The WaveJet 334A features 350 MHz bandwidth and a large 7.5-inch Color Display. For additional analysis, the WaveJet 334A also offers math capabilities, which include difference, sum, FFT and product functions.

With its 26 automatic measurement parameters, the oscilloscope also enables users to save time in making measurements on the signals, with the results color coded to the channels being measured.

The oscilloscope’s replay mode allows users to go back in time to locate and isolate the anomalies, measure them with cursors or parameters and determine the main source of the problem.

The advanced triggering capabilities of the oscilloscope include not only edge triggering but Period, Pulse Width, TV and Pulse Count as well, helping users capture the needed signals.

The oscilloscope also features a built in six-digit frequency counter, which is easy to read and always displayed, to help users simplify measurements.

Its equivalent time acquisition and peak detect modes also provide the much needed flexibility in capturing and measuring of signals. With peak detect, the WaveJet 334A can capture even small glitches of 1 ns, while equivalent time sampling enables it to achieve a maximum sampling rate of 100 GS/s.
