LeCroy WaveRunner 620Zi oscilloscope delivers 20 GS/s

January 11, 2012 By Test and Measurement Editor Leave a Comment

LeCroy (www.lecroy.com) has introduced a four channel oscilloscope from the WaveRunner 6 Zi Series that delivers a maximum real-time sampling rate of 20 GS/s and a memory depth of 16 Mpts.

Defining superiority, the WaveRunner 620Zi oscilloscope offers two GHz bandwidth, large 12.1 WXGA Color Display as well as 50 ohm and one Mohm input. It is equipped with a wide range of application packages, a user interface for easy and quick navigation, advanced triggering to isolate events, lightning fast performance and a wide range of probing options.

Unlike other oscilloscopes, the WaveRunner 620Zi provides the most tools for serial data analysis and features more than 17 trigger, decode and compliance solutions, allowing users to easily address problems with automated tools and powerful views. In addition, ProtoSync, which is its unique measurement toolset, seamlessly combines the simultaneous view of data link layer decodes with the oscilloscope view on the same instrument.

The oscilloscope provides a pristine signal path that delivers unrivalled signal fidelity with low noise. The performance is boosted by a large offset and timebase delay adjustment to enable zooming on horizontal and vertical characteristics as well as easy signal and amplifier performance assessment.

The WaveRunner 620Zi combines high bandwidth edge with four stage cascade triggering, 10 different SMART triggers, measurement trigger and TriggerScan to allow users to quickly isolate the problem and focus on the cause.

Its WavePilot control area offers convenient control of Decode, Cursors, History, WaveScan, Spectrum and LabNotebook by their corresponding function buttons on the front panel.
