LeCroy (www.lecroy.com) has unveiled a member of its WaveRunner 6 Zi family that offers 2.5 GHz bandwidth and a maximum sampling rate of 40 GS/s.

This four channel oscilloscope defines superiority with a powerful feature set that includes advanced triggering capabilities, a vast array of application packages, numerous probing options, a user interface designed for easy and quick navigation and fast performance.

Offering more than 17 decode, trigger and compliance solutions, the WaveRunner 625Zi addresses problems with innovative automated tools and powerful views. Its ProtoSync feature seamlessly combines oscilloscope view with data link layer decodes view in a single instrument.

The oscilloscope’s WavePilot control area offers convenient control of Decode, Cursors, History, WaveScan, Spectrum and LabNotebook by their respective function buttons.

Meanwhile, the WavePilot’s SuperKnob allows users to easily zoom and position waveforms, navigate through tables and quickly annotate and document setups.

The display can be changed from landscape mode to portrait mode by sliding the left side button on the display and rotating it upwards 90 degrees. To optimize the viewing angle, users can also pivot the display upwards and downwards.

Its TriggerScan utilizes high-speed hardware triggering capability that features persistence displays to easily capture signals of interest and deliver answers 100 times faster than any other method. Unlike common fast display update modes that functions best on frequent events found on slow edge rates, TriggerScan works best in locating infrequent events occurring on fast edge rates.
