LeCroy Corporation (www.lecroy.com), a leading provider of serial data test solutions and oscilloscopes, has proudly announced that its WaveMaster 8Zi-A was presented the annual DesignVision Award at DesignCon 2011 under the Test and Measurement Equipment category by UBM Electronics. The 45 GHz WaveMaster 845 Zi-A was selected based on originality of solution, market vision and quality of implementation.

Winners of the DesignVision Award are selected from among the 2011 finalists chosen by a panel of judges composed of members of the DesignCon 2011 Technical Program Committee. The committee comprises electronic design engineering community and experts in the semiconductor industry.

LeCroy received further acknowledgment for its expertise and innovation with its SPARQ Signal Integrity Network Analyzer, which is also a DesignVision Award finalist. Moreover, the technical presentation authored by LeCroy Vice President and Principal Technologist Peter J. Pupalaikis entitled “Wavelet Denoising for TDR Dynamic Range Improvement” has been chosen as a best paper finalist.
