When you have to know how it moves
Several booths instrumented RC racers with accelerometers and other transducers to illustrate vibration analysis capabilities. This example at the Spectral Dynamics booth used exciters and vibration sensors to detect the vibration modes of the RC car so its Star 7 modal analysis software could divine the deflection shapes and do a time-domain animation, as well as a mode shape display.
