Thor crash dummyMeet Thor-50M, more formally known as the Test Device for Human Occupant Restraint. Developed by Cellbond in the UK, Thor has his own built-in data acquisition system and plays a big part in European safety performance assessments known as Euro NCAP. Thor includes a fully instrumented pelvis similar to the one held here by Cellbond business development manager Petros Goutas. (For the smart alecks in the audience, Goutas is the one on the left.) The pelvis Goutas holds in the photo is actually from a different dummy called WIAMan that is frequently used in blast tests. Cellbond supplies parts for WIAMan.

    Great overview of Keysight’s DSRC and C-V2X solutions and thank you for visiting us at ATE Novi. Additionally, Keysight has lower cost test capabilities in this area. Keysight also has test solutions for Automotive Ethernet, CAN, and many power applications including component and system level testing in EV/HV. Keysight’s Automotive Customer Center is located in Novi, MI where seminars, workshops are hosted and customers can rent lab facilities to do their own testing with the latest measurement technologies.
