Pico introduces PicoScope 5200 Professional Oscilloscopes

April 11, 2011 By Test and Measurement Editor Leave a Comment

Pico Technology Ltd. (www.picotech.com) has released its 5200 Professional Oscilloscope, which offers a class-leading bandwidth, memory depth, sampling rate and a built-in arbitrary waveform generator.

This dual channel oscilloscope provides accurate digitized signals with minimal distortion. Offering a bandwidth of 250 MHz, the scope delivers a real-time sampling rate of one GS/s. For repetitive signals, the scope is also designed with an equivalent time sampling (ETS) mode, which increases the sampling rate to 20 GS/s.

The scope’s large buffer memory of 128 megasample guarantees that complex waveforms will be captured at the scope’s full sampling rate.

Designed to occupy minimal space of the user’s desk space, the PicoScope 5200 Professional Oscilloscopes are also lightweight and small enough to fit in the user’s bag. It comes in an anti-slip case design which allows users to use it vertically or horizontally. The case has also been specifically designed to safely store and protect the leads, power supply, probes and the oscilloscope.

The scope is packed with PicoScope 6 oscilloscope software, which enables users to utilize the PicoScope PCO as a spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope and meter. Responsive and easy to use, the PicScope 6 features advanced zoom tools, draggable axes and a waveform replay tool which instantly records up to the last 1000 waveforms.

PicoScope 5200 oscilloscope provides everything that users need to begin taking measurements with very limited effort and fuss. Equipped with a tough carry case, the scope also offers PicoScope oscilloscope software, two 250 MHz x1/x10 oscilloscope probes, USB cable, and a universal power adaptor that allows users to use the oscilloscope almost anywhere.
