Pico Technology (www.picotech.com) has unveiled a 100 MHz oscilloscope from the PicoScope 3000 Series that features a maximum sampling rate of 500 MS/s, 16 MS buffer memory and eight-bit resolution.
The USB oscilloscope comes with PicoScope oscilloscope software with free updates, USB cable, protective case for oscilloscope probes, user manuals and five year warranty.
Users can also enjoy a more detailed display of repetitive signal as its ETS mode optimizes the maximum sampling rate to 10 GS/s. In addition, the oscilloscope’s deep memory allows it to sample at high rates on long timebases.
Its industry-leading zoom controls enables users to easily view even the smallest detail of the waveform, while its segmented memory stores captured waveform in the buffer memory, allowing users to rewind as well as review 1000s of previous waveforms.
Aside from the standard triggers, the PicoScope 3205A also offers a class-leading set of advanced triggers, which includes pulse width, dropout and windowed triggers to allow users to capture the needed data.
Unlike traditional oscilloscopes that employ an analog trigger architecture based on comparators, the PicoScope 3205A uses a fully digital triggering that utilizes the actual digitized data. This allows the oscilloscope to trigger at full bandwidth even the smallest signal, while reducing trigger errors. Hysteresis and trigger levels can also be set with remarkable resolution and great precision.
Meanwhile, the oscilloscope’s mask limit testing feature allows the PicoScope 3205A to scan through waveforms to highlight failed waveforms for viewing.
Its graphical and numerical mask editors can be used independently or in combination, enabling users to modify existing masks and enter accurate mask specifications.
