Pico Technology Ltd. (www.picotech.com) has unveiled a 250 MHz oscilloscope that includes an arbitrary waveform generator that can produce almost any shape of waveform. Featuring two channels, the PicoScope 5203 can also be used for high-speed data acquisition.
The oscilloscope offers a real-time sampling rate of up to one GS/s and an equivalent time sampling (ETS) rate of 20 GS/s, while accurately digitizing signals with minimal distortion.
In addition, the PicoScope 5203 is equipped with PicoScope 6 oscilloscope software. This software allows users to utilize the device as a spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope and meter. Easy-to-use and responsive, the PicoScope 6 provides various features such as advanced zoom tools, draggable axes as well as a waveform display tool, which can automatically record the last 1000 waveforms.
Its innovative anti-slip case design enables the oscilloscope to be used either vertically or horizontally, making it ideal for users working in a space-restricted environment.
The lightweight and compact oscilloscope can easily fit into a bag together with the laptop. Its tough carry case can safely protect and store the oscilloscope, probes, leads and power supply.
To help users easily capture the data needed, the PicoScope 5203 offers advanced triggers that include Window, Pulse width, Delay, Dropout and Logic Level.
Its spectrum analyzer allows users to view up to 250 MHz signal in the frequency domain, while its built-in signal generator has the ability to generate standard waveforms including square, sine, ramp up, triangle, sin (x)/x, ramp dowm, half sine, Gaussian, DC level and white noise.
