Tektronix (www.tek.com) has introduced another oscilloscope from its TDS1000B Series, the TDS1012B — a dual-channel oscilloscope which delivers unrivalled and affordable performance in a compact package.
The scope delivers accurate real-time acquisition with its real-time sampling rate of one GS/s and bandwidth of 100 MHz. It features a record length of 2.5 and 12 standard automatic measurements. It is specifically designed with advanced triggers to enable users to separate signals of interest.
The TDS1012B’s Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) and math functions that include waveform add, multiply and subtract enable users to characterize, analyze and troubleshoot circuits.
The scope also allows users to capture, save and analyze measurements results easily with OpenChoice PC Communications Software. Users simply have to pull waveform data and images directly into Microsoft Excel or Word or into the stand-alone desktop application.
National Instruments SignalExpress Tektronix Edition Software offers extended capabilities that includes remote oscilloscope control, advanced analysis and live waveform analysis. These capabilities complements with the scope’s current OpenChoice software. Its PictBridge feature allows users to directly print images to a printer.
The scope comes with USB host and device ports to enable seamless PC connectivity, ease of data transfer and direct printing.
Tektronix TDS1012B is designed with simple interface that features classic analog-style controls which effectively reduce learning time and increase efficiency. It also offers unique features such as Probe Check Wizard, Autoset Menu and Context-sensitive Help Menu which optimize instrument operation and setup. The scope also comes with a standard Lifetime Warranty.
