Tektronix, one of the industry’s multi-vendor service (MVS) providers of instrument calibration and repair, announced that it has expanded the scope of capabilities available at their Rome, New York laboratory.
This expansion will provide customers with enhanced access to the industry’s broadest scope of standards. Specifically, the laboratory has increased or added capabilities in the following areas: AC/DC Current, Resistance, and electrical stimulation of RTD indicators, among others. By increasing this regional capacity, customers will have an ever greater ability to manage their entire calibration program through a single, local provider.
We have been steadily investing in our Rome laboratory since we opened our doors, said Betsy Anderson, vice president for Service Operations at Tektronix. Not only will Rome serve as our primary standards laboratory, we’ve also added additional shifts, specialized labor, and improved logistics. Rome laboratory customers will now see shorter and more consistent turnaround times, improved logistics and overall reduced downtime.
Tektronix has been recognized as a leader in the North American calibration services market with footprint and breadth of capabilities. The enhancements being made in Rome mirror the company’s commitment to continue growth and to deliver world-class calibration.
