Tektronix (www.tek.com) has released its TDS3000C Digital Phosphor Oscilloscope Series, which features up to 5 GS/s sample rate and 500 MHz bandwidth, enabling users to view fast-changing signals fitted in a compact, battery-capable design. It is easy to use and has 25 automatic measurements and front-panel controls, minimizing the time spent on re-learning how to operate the oscilloscope.
Tektronix TDS3000C Series delivers the performance needed at an affordable price. Featuring real-time intensity grading and continuous waveform capture rate of 3,600 wfms/s, the oscilloscope enables easy identification and solving of the problem.
The TDS3000C Series combines sin(x)/x interpolation with unique digital real-time (DRT) sampling technology to allow users to simultaneously characterize various range of signal types on all channels. Unlike other oscilloscopes, the TDS3000C Series does not require changes in sampling rate when turning on additional channels, making it possible to capture edge anomalies, glitches and other high-frequency information that escape other oscilloscopes of its kind.
It is equipped with a USB host port for easy transfer and storage of measurement information to PCs.
OpenChoice PC Communication Software allows users to simply pull waveform data and screen images directly into Microsoft Excel and Word or into a standalone desktop application.
It also comes with a National Instruments LabVIEW SignalExpress Tektronix Edition Software, which gives users additional capabilities including data logging, live waveform analysis, remote instrument control and advanced analysis.
The TDS3000C Series portable design offers great mobility with 7 lb. (3.2 kg) and 5.9 in. (149 mm) deep.
