Tektronix (www.tek.com) has unveiled a 350 MHz oscilloscope from the MSO/DPO4000B Mixed Signal Oscilloscope Series, the MSO4034B oscilloscope.
Offering four analog and 16 digital channels, the oscilloscope delivers a deep record length of 20 M points and a maximum sample rate of five GS/s. These features not only ensure the performance needed to view fast-changing signal details, but also allow users to find and diagnose problems quickly in complex designs.
To speed up and simplify debug of complex designs, the MSO4034B has been designed with Wave Inspector controls for faster waveform navigation, limit and mask testing, automated serial and parallel bus analysis as well as automated power analysis.
It provides a robust set of features that enables the oscilloscope to expedite the stages of debugging design — from quick discovery and capture of an anomaly, to easy search of the event from the waveform record and analysis of its characteristics as well as the behavior of the device.
Delivering a complete visualization of signals, the MSO4034B provides users fast insight regarding the device’s real operation. It offers a fast waveform capture rate of more than 50,000 waveforms per second to allow users to easily view glitches and other infrequent transients. Its digital phosphor display with intensity grading provides a visual display of how often anomalies occur.
The MSO4034B features a compete set of triggers, which include timeout, runt, pulse width/glitch, logic, serial packet, setup/hold violation and parallel data, to help users find events.
