Tektronix (www.tek.com) has announced the launch of its TDS1000B Oscilloscope Series, which provides a compact design and affordable performance.

Tektronix-TDS1000B-Oscilloscope-Series

Designed with a bandwidth of up to 100 MHz and a maximum sample rate of 1 GS/s, no other digital storage oscilloscope in its class can offer the same price offered by Tektronix. The scope delivers precise real-time acquisition and provides advanced triggers to separate signals of interest. All of its models include 12 standard automatic measurements. Users can also characterize, analyze and troubleshoot circuits with the device’s FFT and waveform’s subtract, add and multiply math functions.

For ease of use, the scope is designed with classic analog-style controls to minimize learning time and maximize efficiency. TDS1000B also features Probe Check Wizard, Autoset Menu and a Help Menu, which is context-sensitive to optimize instrument operation and setup.

The series provides device ports and USB host to allow easy PC connectivity and provide removable data storage, as well as enable direct printing.

The series’ OpenChoice PC Communications Software allows for easy capturing, saving and analysis of measurement results by simply pulling waveform data screen images directly into desktop applications or Microsoft Excel and Word. It also features National Instruments SignalExpress Tektronix Edition Software to complement its OpenChoice Software and provide users with live waveform analysis.

In addition to industry-leading support and service, Tektronix has included in every TDS1000B Series oscilloscope a Lifetime Warranty as standard.
