Tektronix (www.tek.com) has introduced the TDS1001C-EDU digital oscilloscope which provides 40 MHz bandwidth, a record length of 2.5 k and a sampling rate of up to 500 MS/s.
A part of the TDS1000C-EDU Series, this two channel oscilloscope offers an intuitive user interface with auto-setup, dedicated per-channel vertical controls and auto-ranging. These features enable users to easily learn the device, thus, effectively increasing efficiency.
Its integrated Help function, which has a language similar to the user interface, offers significant information relevant to the functions and features of the oscilloscope.
To help users isolate signals of interest, the TDS1001C-EDU has been designed with advanced triggering capabilities that include pulse width, rising/falling edge and video. Analysis of signals captured can be made easy with the oscilloscope’s automated measurements and advanced math capabilities. Its 16 automated measurements reliably and quickly calculate important signal characteristics such as rise time or frequency, while its integrated Limit Test feature allows users to identify problems in the signal.
The Probe Check Wizard function allows users to verify the probe compensation prior to making measurements with a single button that starts a quick and simple procedure.
The oscilloscope’s front panel USB host port enables users to easily save screenshots, instrument settings and waveform data, while its rear-panel USB device port allows for easy capturing, saving and analyzing of measurement results by simply connecting to a PC. Users can also print the images via a PictBridge compatible printer.
Aside from the industry leading support and service, the TDS1001C-EDU also comes with a standard three-year warranty.
