Tektronix (www.tek.com) has released its DPO7000 Digital Phosphor Oscilloscopes, which feature advanced triggering, high waveform capture rate, and search capabilities and protocol decode needed for debugging. The series can also characterize and analyze 1st generation serial data.
It is the latest generation of real-time digital phosphor oscilloscopes and the best solution to industry’s challenging signal integrity issues confronted by designers verifying, debugging, characterizing and testing electronic designs.
The series features optimum performance in signal analysis and acquisition, unmatched debugging tools and operational simplicity to expedite day-to-day tasks. It provides the widest screen in the industry, and the intuitive user interface offers easy access to the maximum amount of data.
The DPO7000 Series features up to 3.5 GHz bandwidth that can be matched across two, three, or four channels. It also provides a user-selectable DSP filter on each channel, which extends the magnitude and phase correction plus to 3.5 GHz to deliver a more precise signal fidelity for complex measurements.
It also features as standard a series of user-selectable bandwidth limit filters, which preserve the device’s bandwidth roll-off flatness, characteristics and phase linearity within the frequency range, minimizing the effects of out-of-band noise on measurements. Designers can now purchase one device for their highest bandwidth requirements and optimize it easily to handle lower-frequency measurements as well.
The series is a fast-responding device and offers a comprehensive lineup of features such as a shallow menu structures, touch screen, knob-per-channel vertical controls, intuitive graphical icons, mouse wheel improvements, saving of waveforms and measurements available in Preview mode, support for right mouse clicks and Export/Save/Recall menu improvements.
