April 29, 2013 By Test and Measurement Editor Leave a Comment

In this product demonstration is an engineering slide chart from Great Innovations. For you Design Engineers, this handy tool can help you with your measurements, be it in the American or British standard. On one side of this chart, there are measurements converting fractions, decimals, and millimeters. It also includes, sheet metal and wire sizes per inch or millimeters for steel sheets. There is a numbering system for carbon and alloy steels, ampere conversions, thermoplastics properties, and beam deflections.Engineering Slide Chart

On the other side, these are measurements for fastening and joining in Metric and English (Imperial System), as well as conversion formulas for distance, area, temperature, mass, pressure, energy, power, and volume.

For either side, you can slide the inner sheet for conversions applicable to your application.

The beauty of this chart is that is also available in an app, which can be installed on your phone or pad.
