Yokogawa Electric Corporation (www.yokogawa.com) has released its DLM2000 Series of mixed-signal oscilloscopes, which offers a FlexRay serial bus analysis function.

Yokogawa’s DLM2000 series is a collection of mixed-signal oscilloscope that offers a maximum bandwidth of 500 MHz and a real-time sampling rate of up to 2.5 GS/s. It also features the fastest update rate of up to 450,000 waveforms per second and longer memory of up to 125 M points. The harmonious blend of a large display with flexible digital and analog inputs in a compact ergonomically styled body effectively makes the device easy to use.

DLM2000’s new facility is specifically designed to deliver protocol analysis and physical-layer waveform observation for the highly reliable FlexRay in-vehicle LAN. It also enables users to capture FlexRay bus signals with its various dedicated triggers and carry out troubleshooting and analysis on parameters that affects the FlexRay signal.

This new analysis function enables the DLM2000 to instantly detect and display packet data directly beneath the time-domain waveform. It offers a vast array of trigger conditions, such as serial bus triggers combinations with normal edge triggers and ID/data trigger combinations.

The series’ serial bus analysis function allows simultaneous analyses of various buses. It can also display analyses and waveform results of two buses with different speed separately with their respective scales.

Aside from the series key performance specifications, it also provides several advanced analysis and measurement features such as digital filtering, histogram and trending functions, user-defined mathematics zoom windows and up to 20,000 history memories
