Agilent DSO91204A Infiniium High Performance Oscilloscope

March 16, 2012 By Test and Measurement Editor Leave a Comment

Agilent (www.agilent.com) has unveiled a 12 GHz oscilloscope from its Infiniium 90000A DSO/DSA Series that offers industry-leading technology, allowing for optimum oscilloscope performance.

Delivering a maximum real-time sampling rate of 40 GSa/s, the DSO91204A Infiniium High Performance Oscilloscope delivers superior oscilloscope signal integrity as it features a standard memory of 20 Mpts/ch that can be upgraded to industry-leading 1 Gpts/ch.

The four-channel oscilloscope boasts a comprehensive set of measurement applications ideally suited for jitter testing, serial debugging and protocol viewing, measurement customization, advanced triggering and rapid automation.

It offers unique serial protocol views, while its DDR debug tools can support multiple generations of the standard. For additional features of the oscilloscope, users can conveniently access them through its standard menus.

The DSO91204A oscilloscope also features the N5414B InfiniiScan Event Identification software which offers unique capabilities such as Zone Qualify and Generic Serial triggering. With the software, users can rapidly automate virtually all oscilloscope measurement and display them at the oscilloscope’s menu.

In addition, the MyInfiniium software allows users to customize their oscilloscope while delivering automated measurements, executing customized prints, saving screenshots or loading the user’s favorite setup.

Users can also use the MATLAB, a data analysis software environment and scripting language, to automate measurements, design and apply their own filters to oscilloscope signals, build test applications and graphically visualize oscilloscope signals in 3-D and 2-D plots.

Meanwhile, the N5430A User Defined Function software allows users to seamlessly incorporate custom functionality into the oscilloscope’s menus to display results on the screen.
