LeCroy WaveSurfer 62MXs-B features high performance hardware

April 3, 2012 By Test and Measurement Editor Leave a Comment

LeCroy (www.lecroy.com) offers powerful waveform processing, high performance hardware and advanced math, debug tools and measurement functions in the WaveSurfer 62MXs-B oscilloscope.

Designed with an intuitive user interface and a large 10.4” touch screen display, the dual channel oscilloscope delivers 600 MHz bandwidth, a real-time sampling rate of up to five GS/s and a memory depth of 16 Mpts.

Although it comes in a compact form factor, the WaveSurfer 62MXs-B can handle huge amounts of data, quickly processing long memory even while using measurement and math functions. Its software immediately responds to user inputs while processing data.

The oscilloscope’s WaveScan function allows users to search across a single acquisition using over 20 different criteria. This function also enables users to scan for an event or set up a scan condition.

The enhanced resolution, 18 math functions and FFT and 23 measurement parameters of the oscilloscope helps users easily measure and analyze the various aspects of the waveform. Aside from measuring the waveforms, the oscilloscope also show how waveforms change through statistics and histicons.

To closely emulate the analog oscilloscope’s look and feel, the WaveSurfer 62MXs-B has been integrated with WaveStream, which delivers a fast update rate and a vibrant, intensity graded display. Using the panel knob at the front, users can adjust the intensity of the display.

The oscilloscope also comes with 10 selectable languages and a thoughtfully designed user interface that offers users with a GUI that is transparent, smooth and easy to operate. Its touch screen display allows users to quickly access all math functions, triggers and measurement parameters.
