Tektronix (www.tek.com), one of the leading manufacturers of oscilloscopes in the world, has proudly announced that its TDS2000C Oscilloscope Series has received a 2011 EE Times ACE Award under the “Most Popular Products of the Year” category.
Launched last October, the award-winning series offers more performance and features that comes with a lifetime warranty. The “world’s most popular oscilloscope”, the TDS2000C Series, is known for its industry-best performance with important analysis functions, digital real-time sampling and intuitive operation that help technicians and engineers get more done in less time.
“Eight out of 10 engineers use Tektronix oscilloscopes and the TDS2000C Series is a big reason why our instruments remain the world standard,” noted Mike Flaherty, General Manager Bench Instruments at Tektronix.
With models offering two or four channels and bandwidth ranging between 50 MHz and 200 MHz, the Tektronix TDS2000C Series provides engineers the much needed performance at an affordable price. Each model in the TDS2000C Series delivers digital real-time sampling with each channel offering at least 10X oversampling. Unlike other competing oscilloscopes in the market, the sample rate of the TDS2000C does not reduce as users turn on additional channels, effectively ensuring that every channel accurately captures signals up to the oscilloscope’s full bandwidth.
“The selection of the TDS2000C Series for an ACE Award clearly demonstrates that these oscilloscopes have what it takes to retain their position as the world’s most popular and best-selling oscilloscopes,” added Mr. Flaherty.
The award was announced during the Embedded Systems Conference acknowledging the recipients of the 2011 Annual Creativity in Electronics (ACE) Awards. The ACE Awards commemorates the creators of technology who showed innovation and leadership in the global industry.
